Synopsis
Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) is John Hughes' classic teen comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Matthew Broderick stars as a quick-witted Chicago high schooler who fakes a fever, ditches class, and turns one spring day into a small act of rebellion.
Ferris doesn't skip school quietly. He drags his anxious best friend Cameron (Alan Ruck) out of bed, picks up girlfriend Sloane (Mia Sara), and borrows a vintage Ferrari that belongs to Cameron's strict father. The trio hits a museum, talks their way into a fancy restaurant, catches a ball game, and crashes a downtown parade where Ferris grabs the mic. Trailing them all day is principal Ed Rooney (Jeffrey Jones), determined to catch the truant red-handed, and Ferris's resentful sister Jeanie (Jennifer Grey).
Broderick keeps turning to talk straight into the camera, a trick that became the film's signature. Hughes made more than a high-school romp here — it's a love letter to one perfect, stolen afternoon. Stream Ferris Bueller's Day Off (1986) online on iFILM.
