Ben Stiller and Drew Barrymore play the couple slowly driven out of their minds. Mrs. Connelly needs the TV fixed, needs errands run, needs them awake at all hours. Every favor swallows another piece of their lives. When the polite frustration curdles, the newlyweds start sketching out a plan no sane person should ever consider: helping the old woman shuffle off a little sooner.
