Airplane!

Airplane! (1980) is the landmark spoof comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Ex-fighter pilot Ted Striker is terrified of flying after the war, yet he boards a passenger jet anyway, hoping to win back Elaine, the flight attendant who walked out on him.

Mid-flight, everything falls apart. The fish dinner is bad, and both pilots — plus half the cabin — pass out from food poisoning. That leaves only the panic-stricken Striker to land the plane. A gruff Captain Oveur talks him down from the tower, Dr. Rumack stays unnervingly calm, and every other line turns into a pun or some piece of nonsense happening in the background. Robert Hays plays Striker, Julie Hagerty is Elaine, and Leslie Nielsen, as the doctor, delivers the immortal "Don't call me Shirley."
