Synopsis
Work It (2020) is a Netflix dance comedy you can watch online on iFILM, starring Sabrina Carpenter. Quinn Ackerman is a sharp high school senior who happens to be a terrible dancer.
Desperate to get into her late father's alma mater, Quinn tells the admissions office she dances for her school's championship crew. Then the crew turns her down. So she builds her own squad from the misfits nobody else wanted, recruits a former dance star named Jake to coach them, and sets out to learn from scratch and crash a major competition.
Directed by Laura Terruso, it's a breezy teen movie about friendship, nerve and finding your own rhythm. Alongside Carpenter is her real-life best friend Liza Koshy, plus Keiynan Lonsdale and Jordan Fisher. Across 93 minutes it stacks up jokes, big routines and plenty of music.
