Medieval (2022) is a Czech-American historical action film you can watch online on iFILM. Director Petr Jakl built the story around Jan Žižka — a 15th-century Bohemian warlord who kept winning battles against the Teutonic Knights and Holy Roman Empire forces even after losing both eyes.

Mercenary leader Jan is hired to kidnap the fiancée of a powerful lord, a political maneuver meant to block one faction's grab for the vacant Bohemian throne. The job looked clean on paper. Žižka did not expect to fall for the hostage — or to end up fighting an entire army over a war that was never his. Ben Foster plays the lead, supported by Michael Caine, Till Schweiger and Matthew Goode.
