Synopsis
The Olsen Gang on the Track (Olsen-banden på sporet, 1975) is Erik Balling's Danish caper comedy, and you can watch online on iFILM. On paper the boys have it made: a stolen fortune and a sunny stretch of Spain to blow it in.
But contentment never comes. Egon keeps the cash chained to his wrist, and the slippery Bøffen lifts it anyway. He lands back behind bars, and the moment he's out he's hatching another flawless plan — one that this time runs straight along the Danish railway. Ove Sprogøe, Morten Grunwald and Poul Bundgaard slip back into the trio as if no time has passed.
Shot at Nordisk Film, the Olsen Gang movies ran for nearly two decades and became a fixture of Danish family cinema.
