Synopsis

Fido (2006) is a Canadian horror-comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Director Andrew Currie built a world where the zombie apocalypse already happened — and then civilization tidied up and moved on. It's the 1950s, the suburbs are immaculate, and the undead now work as domestic servants kept in line by a control collar.

Young Timmy Robinson has one real friend: a six-foot zombie he calls Fido, played by Billy Connolly entirely without words. When Fido's collar malfunctions and the neighbor ends up as dinner, Timmy — and his deeply uncomfortable parents (Carrie-Anne Moss, Dylan Baker) — have to sort it out before the whole town notices.

Dark, dry, and funnier than it has any right to be, the film skewers 1950s suburban conformism with a genuinely sharp edge. Stream Fido (2006) online on iFILM.
