Delicious (Délicieux, 2021) is a French period comedy-drama you can watch online on iFILM. It's 1789, months before the Revolution, and gifted cook Manceron (Grégory Gadebois) is thrown out of the Duke of Chamfort's kitchen for the crime of serving his guests a dish made with potatoes.

Stung and proud, Manceron retreats to his son's roadside inn and abandons cooking altogether. Then Louise (Isabelle Carré) arrives, talks her way into becoming his apprentice, and slowly rekindles his appetite for the craft. Together they try something nobody has dared before: a place where any ordinary traveler can sit down, read a menu, and choose their own meal — the first true restaurant in France.

Director Éric Besnard serves up an unhurried, mouthwatering story about pride, quiet revenge, and how the collapse of the old order made room for a brand-new pleasure shared at a common table.
