Synopsis

Besnard works in the vein of old treasure-hunt yarns, where the real trap isn't the jungle but the people carrying the prize. It's a solid pick for anyone after a no-frills adventure: a scramble for gold, a brotherhood coming apart, and a wilderness that couldn't care less about anyone's plans.
