Magical Maestro

Magical Maestro (1952) is a six-minute MGM cartoon by Tex Avery — watch it online on iFILM. Wandering magician Mysto pitches himself as an opening act to the Great Poochini, an opera singer with a very high opinion of himself. Poochini throws him out.

Mysto's response: grab a magic wand, steal the conductor's podium, and turn the performance into something the audience was definitely not expecting. Costumes keep changing mid-aria, identities refuse to stick, and the opera unravels into pure Avery chaos.
