Koala impresario Buster Moon has a new obsession: take his ragtag troupe to Redshore City and land a slot at the Crystal Tower Theater, the flashiest venue on the planet. The catch — the venue's ruthless owner Jimmy Crystal demands a name, and Buster promises him Clay Calloway, a reclusive lion rock legend voiced by Bono, who hasn't performed in fifteen years. Convincing a grieving rock star to return to the spotlight is just one problem. Getting the whole crew through auditions, rehearsals, and a very angry wolf mogul is another.
