Synopsis
Sudden Fear (1952) is a Hollywood noir thriller directed by David Miller — watch it online on iFILM. That moment flips the film: the woman who was prey becomes the one running the game, and the taut second half belongs entirely to Crawford's controlled, icy unraveling. Jack Palance as Lester is genuinely unsettling — all charm on the surface, cold calculation underneath — and Gloria Grahame plays Irene with brittle, dangerous energy.
