The Philadelphia Experiment

The Philadelphia Experiment (2012) is Paul Ziller's sci-fi thriller, free to watch online on iFILM. A secret military program sets out to recreate a World War II legend — the test that supposedly turned warships invisible.

This time the machine works far too well. The long-lost destroyer Eldridge tears out of 1943 and into the present, dragging a rupture in space and time behind it: equipment dies, people don't survive, and the holes in reality keep widening. Only two stand a chance of shutting it down — the lone survivor of the original test and his granddaughter. Malcolm McDowell plays the scientist who'll risk anything for results, while Michael Paré, star of the 1984 original, returns to the franchise in a fresh role.
