Goon: Last of the Enforcers (2017) is a Canadian hockey comedy directed by Jay Baruchel — watch it online on iFILM. Seann William Scott returns as Doug "The Thug" Glatt, a minor-league enforcer whose only real talent is absorbing and delivering punishment. One broken right hand later, that talent is gone, and Doug has to figure out what's left.
While he's sidelined, his spot is taken by Anders Cain — Wyatt Russell playing a new enforcer who's nastier and less principled than Doug ever was. Getting back onto the ice means teaming up with his old on-ice nemesis Ross Rhea (Liev Schreiber), who's got reasons of his own to settle scores. Alison Pill is back as Doug's wife, now pregnant, and the film uses that domestic pressure to give the hockey brutality something real to land on.
Baruchel, who co-wrote both films, leans harder into the sentiment this time without losing the roughness that made the first one work. A solid sequel that respects what it's following. Stream Goon: Last of the Enforcers (2017) online on iFILM.
