Night at the Museum

Night at the Museum (2006) is a family fantasy comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Shawn Levy and based on the children's book by Milan Trenc. Ben Stiller plays Larry Daley, a down-on-his-luck dreamer who lands a job as night security guard at the American Museum of Natural History in New York.

His first shift ends the notion that museum work is quiet. At midnight, an ancient Egyptian tablet wakes everything up — a full-scale T-Rex skeleton starts playing fetch with its own bones, Attila the Hun raids the snack machine, and a pair of miniature armies declare war across the diorama tables. Larry has until sunrise to get every exhibit back in place. Miss the deadline and he loses both the job and whatever is left of his credibility with his son.

Robin Williams plays a galloping Theodore Roosevelt, Ricky Gervais is the blissfully unhelpful museum director, and Dick Van Dyke heads a trio of retiring guards who know far more about that tablet than they let on.
