Synopsis
The Accursed (2022) is a horror film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Kevin Lewis. A family friend asks Elly to spend a few days minding an elderly woman who lives alone in a remote cabin, and Elly says yes almost too quickly — a short trip into the woods sounds like the perfect escape.
The cabin is anything but restful. Reality starts to fray as Elly drifts through hallucinations that bleed straight into her dreams, and the line between waking and nightmare disappears. By the time the visions take hold, she grasps the truth: she was lured here on purpose. Something is hiding inside the old woman, patient and hungry, waiting for its moment to break loose.
Sarah Grey leads as Elly, with Meg Foster, Sarah Dumont and Mena Suvari rounding out the cast. A tight cabin-in-the-woods possession story that uses grief and guilt as kindling for its scares.
