Baghead

Baghead (2023) is a grim supernatural horror from director Alberto Corredor that you can watch online on iFILM. When her estranged father dies, Iris inherits a crumbling centuries-old pub in Berlin, along with the thing that lives in its basement.

Iris, played by Freya Allan, arrives to identify the body and sign the deed, never realizing the property comes bound to an ancient creature with a sack over its head. Baghead can take the shape of any dead person for exactly two minutes and speak in their voice. Desperate mourners pay to say goodbye to the people they've lost, but break the two-minute rule and the entity drags you down with it. Iris has to keep the monster controlled and work out how to destroy it before it claims her. A grieving man named Neil, played by Jeremy Irvine, turns up willing to pay any price for one more talk with his dead wife.

Corredor's feature debut grew out of his own short film and runs on one cruel rule and a strong cast, including veteran Peter Mullan and Ruby Barker.
