Synopsis

The Eye (見鬼, 2002) is a Pang Brothers horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Blind since she was two, young violinist Mun finally gets a cornea transplant. Her sight comes back — and so does something she was never meant to see.

At first the new world is just blurry shapes and unfamiliar faces. Then Mun notices the others: shadowy figures who drift through hospital corridors and stairwells, escorting the soon-to-be-dead. Convinced the eye itself carries a memory, she traces the donor across the border to a small town in Thailand, where a grief no one ever resolved is still waiting.

Oxide and Danny Pang built their scares on a quiet, creeping dread rather than gore — the simple terror of not trusting your own eyes. The film kicked off a wave of remakes, including the Hollywood version with Jessica Alba, and remains a cornerstone of early-2000s Asian horror. Lee Sinje carries it with a performance that earned her major regional film awards. Stream The Eye (2002) online on iFILM.
