Resident Evil: Vendetta

Resident Evil: Vendetta (2017) is a feature-length CGI action film set in the Resident Evil universe, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Director Takanori Tsujimoto builds it as a dark, photoreal animated shooter rather than a live-action spin-off.

A new virus is closing in on New York, and the outbreak traces back to a revenge-driven arms dealer named Glenn Arias. Three familiar faces from the games team up to stop him: BSAA captain Chris Redfield, government agent Leon S. Kennedy and biotech professor Rebecca Chambers. Together they push through swarms of the infected while trying to work out exactly how Arias plans to turn the whole city into a nightmare.

This is its own animated chapter made for fans of the series, not a game and not a movie with live actors, leaning hard into gunfights, mutated creatures and waves of the undead.
