Synopsis
The Man with the Iron Heart (2017) is Cédric Jimenez's wartime thriller, available to watch online on iFILM. Jason Clarke stars as Reinhard Heydrich, the SS officer who put the machinery of the Final Solution down on paper.
The first stretch traces how a disgraced naval cadet climbed into the role of Reich security chief, with Rosamund Pike as the wife who pushed him upward. Then the film hands the story to two parachutists, Jozef Gabčík and Jan Kubiš (Jack O'Connell and Jack Reynor), dropped near occupied Prague to kill him. Mia Wasikowska and Stephen Graham appear in support, and the dread builds toward what the assassins know is coming for the city afterward.
Adapted from Laurent Binet's novel HHhH, this Belgian-French-British co-production leans on character and consequence rather than spectacle.
