Living

Nighy works mostly in silence, in pauses and small looks, and earned an Academy Award nomination for it. A young clerk played by Aimee Lou Wood pulls him back toward life almost without meaning to.

Nobel laureate Kazuo Ishiguro wrote the screenplay, moving Akira Kurosawa's classic Ikiru from postwar Japan to buttoned-up England.
