Here (2024) is a Robert Zemeckis drama you can watch online on iFILM. Tom Hanks and Robin Wright reunite with the director who made Forrest Gump, and the whole film unfolds from a single fixed camera angle that never moves once.

That angle looks at one corner of a living room in an American house. From there we watch a full century pass through the same patch of space. Before the house there was forest and native trails; later came walls, and in the 1950s a boy named Richard was born in this very room. We see him grow up, bring home his fiancee Margaret, raise children, and eventually become a grandfather. Zemeckis overlaps the eras, letting past and future share one frame at the same moment.

Paul Bettany and Kelly Reilly fill out the cast. The script adapts Richard McGuire's graphic novel, and digital tools age and de-age the actors across decades of their lives. The result is a quiet meditation on home, memory and how fast time slips by. Stream Here (2024) online on iFILM.
