Synopsis
Hollywood Homicide (2003) is Ron Shelton's buddy-cop comedy with Harrison Ford and Josh Hartnett, ready to watch online on iFILM. Two homicide detectives chase a killer while neither of them really wants the badge in the first place.
Joe Gavilan is a veteran cop drowning in debt who moonlights as a real estate broker. His young partner K.C. Calden teaches yoga, dreams of acting, and has one foot out the precinct door. They catch a splashy case: a rap group gunned down in a club, with the trail pointing to a powerful music mogul who keeps slipping the net. Crooked colleagues and their own side hustles get in the way at every turn.
Shelton leans on banter and the odd-couple chemistry of his leads rather than firepower, though the climactic chase tears across half of Los Angeles.
