The Equalizer

The Equalizer (2014) is an action thriller directed by Antoine Fuqua — watch it online on iFILM. Denzel Washington stars as Robert McCall, a mild-mannered hardware store employee whose calm surface hides a lethal past in covert operations. Produced by Columbia Pictures and Village Roadshow, the film runs 131 minutes.

McCall made a promise to leave the violence behind. Then he meets Teri (Chloë Grace Moretz), a young woman trapped under the thumb of Russian gangsters. When she ends up beaten and taken away, that promise breaks. The man sent to deal with McCall is Teddy (Marton Csokas) — a ruthless fixer with mob resources and corrupt law enforcement on his side. David Harbour co-stars as a compromised agency contact.
