Somewhere

Somewhere (2010) is Sofia Coppola's drama you can watch online on iFILM. It follows a Hollywood actor who has money, fame and an endless party, and feels almost nothing at all.

Johnny Marco (Stephen Dorff) lives at the Chateau Marmont, the storied hotel on Sunset Boulevard. His days blur together: laps in a black Ferrari, women sent up to his room, press junkets he barely registers. Then his eleven-year-old daughter Cleo (Elle Fanning) turns up for a longer stay, and the emptiness he has been coasting through suddenly has a witness.

Coppola shoots in long, still takes with almost no score, letting the camera sit on a bored man until the silence does the talking. The film took the Golden Lion at the Venice Film Festival.
