Fox ran The Bernie Mac Show for five seasons between 2001 and 2006 — watch it online on iFILM. Comedian Bernie Mac, playing a version of himself, suddenly becomes guardian to his sister's three kids when she enters rehab: Jordan, Vanessa, and little Bryana.

The show's running bit is Bernie turning away from whatever's happening and talking directly to camera — like a man filing a live complaint with the audience. His wife Wanda, played by Kellita Smith, anchors the household: sharper than Bernie and under no illusions about what she married. Jeremy Suarez, Camille Winbush, and Dee Dee Davis round out the kids.
