Don't Die Too Hard!

Don't Die Too Hard! (La Tour Montparnasse Infernale, 2001) is a French action comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Charles Nemes. It is a goofy Die Hard spoof built around the duo Eric and Ramzy: two window washers stuck atop a Paris skyscraper when terrorists move in.

Eric and Ramzy clean the glass of the Montparnasse tower and linger after hours because Ramzy is convinced he has a date with gorgeous executive Marie-Joelle, who actually can't stand him. That delusion leaves the pair as the only witnesses when a gang seizes the building and takes the night staff hostage. Determined to rescue the woman they spotted through a window, the two bunglers throw themselves into the chaos. The one thing they never suspect: she is the one running the whole operation.

This is pure French slapstick in the Eric et Ramzy vein, all silly stunts and zero gravity. A young Omar Sy, later the star of The Intouchables, turns up in the cast.
