Synopsis

Daughter Claire (Julie Bowen) and her enthusiastic husband Phil Dunphy (Ty Burrell) are raising three kids who rarely cooperate. Son Mitchell (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and his partner Cameron Tucker (Eric Stonestreet) are managing parenthood in their own gloriously chaotic way. The whole thing is shot mockumentary-style — characters glance straight at the camera after every disaster, and there are many.
