While working a murder case, Damian crosses paths with Talon, an assassin tied to the Court of Owls, a secret society that has steered Gotham from the shadows for generations. Talon dangles what Bruce never will: permission to take a life and end the threat for good. The pull between mentor and boy escalates until, yes, the title pays off and the two come to blows. Kevin Conroy returns as the voice of Batman, Jason O'Mara anchors Bruce, and Stuart Allan gives Damian the bristling rage of a kid certain he's right.
