Stargirl

Stargirl (2020) is a Disney+ teen romance you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Julia Hart and adapted from Jerry Spinelli's beloved novel. Leo is a quiet high schooler who has spent years learning to blend into the background.

That changes when a new student named Stargirl shows up: she carries a ukulele through the halls, sings happy birthday to strangers, and lives as if other people's opinions simply don't register. Leo is drawn to her in a way he can't explain, and her refusal to shrink slowly reshapes how he sees himself — and shakes up the whole town. But high school punishes anyone who stands out, and being that bright comes at a cost. Stargirl is played by Grace VanderWaal, the America's Got Talent winner, who does her own singing here. Giancarlo Esposito appears as a teacher.
