Synopsis
Geek Charming (2011) is a family teen comedy you can watch online on iFILM. When the school's most popular junior, Dylan, drops her designer bag into a mall fountain, the kid who fishes it out is Josh — a film geek who happens to be hunting for someone to star in his documentary.
They strike a deal. He gets her bag back, she sits for his movie about what popularity really is. Josh wants a sharp takedown of the queen bee. Dylan just wants more screen time before the Blossom Queen vote. The footage, though, keeps catching things neither of them set out to show: a real person under the polished image, and a so-called nerd who turns out to be worth knowing.
Based on Robin Palmer's novel and made for Disney Channel, it stars Sarah Hyland (Modern Family) and Matt Prokop. This is easy, good-natured viewing for anyone who misses high-school stories about awkward crushes and the work of dropping the act. Stream Geek Charming (2011) online on iFILM.
