Wolf Creek 2

Wolf Creek 2 (2013) is Greg McLean's Australian horror film, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Out in the endless emptiness of the Outback, on a road that seems to go nowhere, Mick Taylor waits — a grinning bushman who hunts travelers for sport.

The story opens on German backpackers Katarina and Rutger, who came to see the famous Wolf Creek crater. Their idyll doesn't last. The nightmare then passes to a British hitchhiker, Paul (Ryan Corr), whose one mistake was accepting a ride from the wrong man — and his escape becomes an hours-long chase across scorched, hostile desert. John Jarratt returns as Mick, and he's looser and chattier here, cracking jokes and singing between bursts of savagery.

McLean made the sequel faster and meaner than his 2005 original, trading some of the slow dread for car chases and pitch-black comedy. Not for the squeamish: the violence is graphic and unapologetic.
