Synopsis
The Prodigy (2019) is a horror film from director Nicholas McCarthy you can watch online on iFILM. Sarah and John are raising their son Miles, a boy so bright he leaves other kids his age far behind. For a while he seems like a gift. By the time he turns eight, his behavior has turned frightening.
Miles talks in his sleep in a language no one recognizes. He lashes out with sudden cruelty. Doctors have no answers, and Sarah (Taylor Schilling) starts to suspect something is wrong with her son that no diagnosis can explain. The closer she gets to the truth, the worse it looks, and the harder it becomes to know whether the child can be saved at all. Miles is played by Jackson Robert Scott, familiar to audiences as Georgie in It.
