Synopsis
Jekyll (2007) is a modern sequel to Stevenson, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Set in present-day London, it follows Dr. Tom Jackman, a distant descendant of the original Jekyll who discovers the family curse runs in his blood too. The series was written by Steven Moffat, with James Nesbitt in the lead.
Jackman is trying to manage his other self — the cold, dangerous Hyde who shares his body. To protect his wife and kids, he relies on dictaphones, strict schedules, and an assistant who logs whatever Hyde gets up to while Jackman is "asleep." But a shadowy, deep-pocketed organization is hunting them both, and it wants the monster, not the man. Nesbitt flips between the two versions of himself on camera, with no makeup — just voice and posture.
This is a tight, six-episode run that mixes thriller, dark sci-fi and family drama. Fans of early Moffat will spot his signature twists and gallows humor. A good pick for anyone who likes clever British miniseries with a double bottom. Stream Jekyll online on iFILM.
