The Bay (Seasons 1–5)

The Bay (2019) is the British crime drama you can watch online on iFILM. The faded seaside town of Morecambe in north-west England ticks along in its off-season quiet until a pair of teenage twins vanish without a trace. The case lands with Lisa Armstrong, a family liaison officer whose job is to steady the grieving parents, not to run the investigation herself.

The trouble is how close Lisa already stands to this family. A past encounter with one of them ties her into the case in a way she can't admit, and the secret threatens to wreck both the inquiry and her career. Morven Christie plays a woman whose work and private life knot into a single tightening loop, while Morecambe — its wind, its tide, its everyone-knows-everyone closeness — becomes a character in its own right.
