Swallow

Swallow (2020) is a psychological horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Hunter, newly pregnant and living in a glass house above the river, starts swallowing dangerous objects: a marble, a thumbtack, a battery.

Haley Bennett plays a young wife whose life looks like a magazine spread. Wealthy husband, flawless interior, in-laws who decide everything on her behalf. The pregnancy only sharpens the sense that her own body belongs to other people. So a strange compulsion takes hold — eating the things you are never supposed to eat. It becomes the one thing she controls. Behind the spotless surface sits an old wound nobody ever asked about.

This is the feature debut of director Carlo Mirabella-Davis, just 91 minutes long, with every frame composed down to the tile grout and the color of the pills.
