Synopsis
Highlander: Endgame (2000) is a fantasy action film you can watch online on iFILM, and the first entry to put both Macleod immortals on screen together. Connor and Duncan share a clan, a curse and one brutal rule: in the end, there can be only one.
The threat is Jacob Kell, a maniac from Connor's distant past in the Scottish highlands, now leading a small army of immortal swordsmen. Nobody has beaten him in single combat, and neither Highlander is strong enough alone. So they reach a grim plan: one of them must die so the other absorbs his power and finally cuts Kell down. Christopher Lambert returns to the role that launched the saga, Adrian Paul carries over his hero from the Highlander TV series, Bruce Payne chews scenery as the villain, and Donnie Yen choreographs the sword duels.
Director Douglas Aarniokoski stages the fourth film as a reckoning between two generations of the franchise: katana fights under a rock score, flashbacks to Scotland and a finale that earns its tagline.
