Envy

Envy (2004) is a Barry Levinson comedy with Ben Stiller and Jack Black that you can watch online on iFILM. Two neighbors, two matching lawns, and one ridiculous idea: a spray that makes dog poop disappear into thin air.

Tim and Nick are best friends who copy each other down to the cars in the driveway. Tim plays it safe and laughs off his buddy's harebrained schemes. Then Nick markets his absurd invention, "Vapoorize," and turns into an overnight millionaire. Suddenly Tim is staring at Nick's mansion across the street, a white horse on the grass, and a jealousy so dark it pushes him into genuinely stupid decisions. Rachel Weisz and Amy Poehler play the wives, while Christopher Walken drifts in as a wandering oddball called the J-Man.

The script came from Steve Adams, with Levinson — an Oscar winner for Rain Man — behind the camera. It flopped hard and got savaged by critics, then slowly earned a cult following as a strange, half-forgotten curio that runs on sheer absurdity and Walken's deadpan.
