Synopsis
Abyss (어비스, 2019) is a Korean mystery-romance series you can watch online on iFILM. The story centres on a supernatural marble called the Abyss: when it brings a dead person back to life, it rebuilds them in an entirely different body — one that reflects the soul inside rather than the face the world knew.
Cha Min is the heir to a cosmetics empire, wealthy but always self-conscious about his looks. Go Se-yeon is a sharp, no-nonsense prosecutor who never doubted her own confidence. When both are killed in separate incidents and the Abyss revives them, the rules flip: Cha Min (Ahn Hyo-seop) wakes up in a strikingly handsome stranger's body, while Se-yeon (Park Bo-young) finds herself in an unremarkable face no one recognises. Investigating who wanted them dead means working together — as people nobody knows they are.
