A pair of tabloid reporters get sent to chase the story after their editor receives a letter swearing an angel walks the earth. John Travolta plays Michael as a scruffy, grinning slob with zero interest in acting holy. Andie MacDowell and William Hurt are the cynics who came for a headline and leave with something else entirely. Bob Hoskins and Jean Stapleton round out the road trip.
