After flunking out of art school, Kit moves back in with her parents and takes a dull temp job to look like she's finally growing up. There's a catch: Kit has to prove she can build a life stable enough to care for one. Larson directs and stars, with her Captain Marvel co-star Samuel L. Jackson turning up as the rainbow-draped Salesman.
