Synopsis
Free Fire (2017) is Ben Wheatley's gun-soaked crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Boston, 1978. Two crews meet in an abandoned warehouse to trade guns for cash, and one twitchy insult later the whole deal collapses into a firefight.
What follows is ninety minutes pinned to a single concrete room. Nobody walks tall here. Brie Larson brokers the deal and watches it rot, Cillian Murphy hauls the money, Armie Hammer cracks jokes between rounds, and Sharlto Copley plays a preening arms dealer who takes the most punishment. The wounded don't drop cleanly. They scream, crawl, and keep grabbing for the briefcase nobody can quite reach.
Wheatley built a slapstick siege with live ammunition: every bullet counts, the chaos never lets up, and by the end you've lost track of who shot whom.
