The killer's site runs on a cruel rule: the more people click in, the faster the captive dies. Every viewer speeds up the death. Marsh, played by Diane Lane, chases the hacker through scraps of code and routed traffic while he stays a step ahead and knows exactly who is closing in. Then the trap tightens around her own family, and the case becomes a fight against the clock.
