Serendipity

He writes his on a dollar bill and spends it; she writes hers inside a used book and sells it to a secondhand shop. If the universe wants them together, it will sort things out. Years pass. Both are weeks away from marrying someone else. But Jonathan can't stop searching, and Sara can't stop wondering. Jeremy Piven plays the best friend who eggs Jonathan on; Molly Shannon plays Sara's more skeptical companion.
