Synopsis
Third Person (2014) is a romantic drama written and directed by Paul Haggis, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Three cities, three couples, three love stories — bound together by a novelist mining his own life for fiction without seeing that he's also someone else's character.
In a New York hotel suite a celebrated writer (Liam Neeson) is caught between his wife and a younger lover. In Paris a former maid (Mila Kunis) fights for the right to see her son. In Rome an American hustler (Adrien Brody) sinks into a scam for a stranger he can't read. The threads connect in ways the film withholds until late, and the payoff reframes everything before it. Olivia Wilde, James Franco, Kim Basinger and Maria Bello fill out the ensemble.
Haggis, the Oscar-winning writer behind Crash, builds a puzzle about guilt, loss, and the stories we tell to make our worst grief survivable. It's demanding work — it rewards viewers willing to wait for the reveal and frustrates anyone expecting a straight line. Stream Third Person (2014) online on iFILM.
