Synopsis

Lara (Elizabeth Banks) is locked up for a murder she swears she never committed. Three years of appeals lead nowhere, the final petition is denied, and the law has run out of answers. John raises their young son alone while quietly losing hope. So an ordinary man who can't fight or shoot starts building a plan piece by piece: forged papers, escape routes, cash buried in a backyard. The clock gives him under 72 hours.
The cast also includes Liam Neeson, Olivia Wilde and Brian Dennehy. It's an American remake of the French film Anything for Her (2008), reshaped by Haggis into a study of how far a soft-spoken father will go when his family is taken. A tense 133-minute ride.
