Kristy

Kristy (2014) is a horror-thriller you can watch online about a college student stranded alone on a deserted campus over the holidays. Her name is Justine. By nightfall, hooded strangers start hunting her.

The drifters pick victims at random and call every one of them "Kristy" — their twisted label for anyone they've decided deserves to die. The campus has emptied out for Thanksgiving, no help is coming, and a phone won't save her. So Justine does the only thing left: she stops fleeing and starts hitting back, turning empty dorms and dark corridors into traps. Haley Bennett carries nearly the whole film, with Ashley Greene and Lucas Till alongside her.

Director Olly Blackburn keeps it lean — 85 minutes, a tiny cast, all the pressure riding on the claustrophobia of a place with nobody in it. It works best for fans of single-survivor horror where the prey learns to bite back before the credits roll. Stream Kristy online on iFILM.
