Bros

Bros (2022) is a romantic comedy from director Nicholas Stoller that you can watch online on iFILM. Bobby hosts a hit podcast, runs point on a new LGBTQ history museum, and insists he's perfectly happy single.

App hookups suit him fine. Then he runs into Aaron at a club — a buttoned-up lawyer who seems like the opposite of everything Bobby is. They start with long walks around New York and arguments about nothing in particular. Soon it's the thing Bobby swore he'd never do again. Billy Eichner, who co-wrote the script, and Luke Macfarlane play two men who'd rather crack jokes than say how they feel.

It's the first gay rom-com from a major studio with an all-LGBTQ principal cast, and Eichner writes it sharp, prickly and very talky. Debra Messing and Harvey Fierstein turn up along the way. Best for viewers who want fast, funny dialogue over a sugary ending. Stream Bros (2022) online on iFILM.
