A wealthy Montauk family wants a woman to "date" their son Percy before he heads off to college. The kid is nineteen, painfully shy, and panics at the idea of a conversation. Maddie charges in headfirst, but the awkward Percy turns out to be no pushover, and it gets hard to say who is teaching whom. Jennifer Lawrence throws herself into the role without an ounce of vanity, while newcomer Andrew Barth Feldman answers her with stubborn unease.
