Synopsis
Black Skin (1931) is a Soviet early-sound propaganda drama you can watch online on iFILM. Director Pavel Kolomoytsev tells the story of three American Ford factory workers who lose their jobs during the Depression and travel to the USSR in search of work. When one of them — Black worker Tom, played by Kador Ben-Salim — is forced out of a dormitory by his white American co-worker, the Soviet factory collective calls a boycott.
